Last Supper Table

To commemorate ten years of designing and handcrafting furniture, partners Abir Ali and Andre Sandifer set their sights on ArtPrize 2014, embarking to build the Last Supper Table. With a stunning portfolio of retail work that is normally intended for private-purchase, this project is the largest table that they have collaborated on, and, is their first public art installation.

The remarkable result is a pristine, 30 foot solid walnut table surface draped over slender legs and surrounded by a set of 12 sculptural and pragmatic stools. Who’s That?  partnered with Ali Sandifer to see the Last Supper Table move from concept to reality, working directly with these talented makers.  We supported them in all aspects of the table’s creation, from hand letterpressed invitations and a website documenting the making and marking, to the sharing of their personal story with viewers through an in-depth video series. Working with motion content partners, Iron Coast, we produced a three-part story that illuminates the deep roots and inspirations that have motivated the couple to create over the years.
